Oscar winner Tom Schulman (Dead Poets Society) delivers a con game thriller with Double Down South, a film he both wrote and directed. Featuring strong performances from an outstanding cast, Schulman’s film immerses us in the world of high stakes keno pool gambling. Nick (Kim Coates, Van Helsing) runs an illegal gambling operation in his run-down plantation house in the deep south. Soon he finds himself enamored with Diana (Lili Simmons) a smart, tough, and charming ace who’s determined to win big. Together they prepare to risk it all to take down a world champion.
