Anita

The AMIA bombing in 1994 causes Anita to become separated from her mother (Norma Aleandro). Forced to fend for herself while walking the streets of Buenos Aires, her tenacity and innocence keep her alive and endear her to those she meets. “Anita” is a must-see film that strips away the layers we hide behind and encourages us all to be the best we can be. Alejandra Manzo, an actress living with Down syndrome, gives an astonishing performance in the title role. JFilm is proud to bring back this award-winning film from last year’s Festival. (Ages 12+)
