Gurrumul is a stirring portrait of the widely celebrated
Australian musician Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, a blind,
indigenous artist known for soulful tenor vocals that blended
his traditional heritage with folk, gospel and classical elements. The documentary introduces us to his family and
remote island community while featuring footage from many
of his concerts including a duet with Sting and a standing
ovation at the Sydney Opera House.
