Much to her disliking, a lonely retired French teacher ends up in a geriatric rehab center after breaking her hip. She wants nothing to do with the “old” people living in the place but slowly warms up to her roommate and enjoys the friendship. When she meets Shaul, who employs the little French he can remember to flirt with her, emotions surface that she hasn’t felt in years. After rehabilitation, returning to her old life of watching French game shows on TV is much harder than she thought.
