The Jews
Pittsburgh Premiere

In this darkly comedic French satire, director, co-writer and star Yvan Attal uses humor and sly psychological observations to explore and skewer some of the more extreme anti-Semitic canards. Through several cleverly tied vignettes, Attal obsesses about the rising tide of anti-Semitism in France while lying on his psychoanalyst’s couch. Featuring some of the finest actors in contemporary French cinema, The Jews is both scathing and irreverent. (Adult content: nudity, language, violence)

“…each sketch takes its stated theme to the most absurd level possible, underlining how racial and religious prejudices are nothing short of ridiculous.” Jordan Mintzer, Hollywood Reporter
