Your Eventive account is where you will access your virtual content.
If you joined us for one of our virtual festivals in the past two years, you already have an Eventive account set up via the email you used at that time.
If your purchase with us this year will be your first for an Eventive platform virtual festival, then you will receive an email from JFilm Festival 25 inviting you to activate your Eventive account. Once you set your password, you’ll be able to log in and access all of your purchased content in your Content Library.
Add JFilm Festival 25 to your contacts to avoid having these emails go to spam. These emails may take a few minutes to arrive in your inbox. However, if they don’t arrive within ten minutes, check your spam, clutter, and junk folders. If you don’t find them there, please email us at info@filmpittsburgh.org so we can help to resolve the issue.
Please make sure to use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS that you used to purchase your tickets/pass to activate your Eventive account. Your tickets and access are tied to that email account.
You only need to set up your Eventive account after your first purchase. For any additional ticket purchases, you must use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS so that your tickets appear in your Content Library. After every purchase, you will receive an email from JFilm Festival 25 with a link to your film via a WATCH NOW button. We strongly suggest you save these emails for easy access to your films when you’re ready to watch them!
Festival content can be viewed on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.

You can also find the confirmation email and click the WATCH NOW button. If you’ve already ordered a ticket and are logged into your Eventive account, you will have the option to “watch now” from the virtual screening page.
WARNING: Once you have purchased a ticket for a film, you do NOT have to pay again. If you are on the Eventive platform and are asked to "Order Now" instead of "Watch Now," make sure you are logged into your Eventive account. If you are logged in and this problem still exists, please contact us at info@filmpittsburgh.org so we can troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Ticket Buyers—there are two ways to access your films/programs:
1) Locate the email from JFilm Festival 25 and click on the WATCH NOW button.
2) Go to watch.eventive.org/me and click on the gray circle on the top right corner of the screen to access your Content Library. All of the films you have purchased will be located here.
When you’re ready to watch, click the WATCH NOW button in the middle of your screen and enjoy! If the film is not yet available, the button will say: “Pre-Ordered successfully.”
You will have 48 hours, in most instances, once you hit WATCH NOW, to finish viewing the film. Make sure to check the dates/times/geographic restrictions for each film/program.
After setting up your Eventive account, return to the JFilm Festival 25 schedule pages and select the films you would like to watch by clicking on the “I already have a pass” button. Your pass benefits will be automatically applied and the selected films or short film programs will appear when you next log in to Eventive and go to your Content Librar as described above.
We kindly request that you only pre-order or unlock films that you are sure you are going to watch as some films have limited numbers of views and Film Pittsburgh is charged whether you actually watch it or not.
Once you have activated your Eventive account, return to the JFilm Festival 25 schedules to select the films you wish to watch. Films and events do NOT automatically appear in your Content Library, even with a pass.
- To add a film, click on the image (a button will pop up) and select “I already have a pass.” This will take you to the Eventive website where you will add the film to your Eventive Content Library by clicking on the purple button in the middle of the image that says "Pre-Order Now for Free" or “Unlock for Free." To add another film to your Content Library, hit “Back to Festival Site” in the upper right corner and repeat the process for your next selection.
- You can access your Content Library by going to watch.eventive.org/me and logging in.
- When you’re ready to watch, click the WATCH NOW button in the middle of your screen and enjoy! If the film is not yet available, the button will say: “Pre-Ordered successfully.”

Simply search for “Eventive” in the App Store, download and install it, and follow the on-screen instructions to link the app to your existing Eventive account. Note: This is NOT an app for your phone. You must have a 4th generation or greater Apple TV to access the app store.
