Nico is a free-spirited filmmaker who falls for a woman, but finds he needs to first win the affections of her precocious 7-year-old daughter, Franny, before the relationship can move forward. A complicated, yet endearing friendship ensues revealing both the struggle and simplicity of modern parent/child relationships. Writer/director Uri Bar-On masterfully weaves the mixed emotions that these characters feel for each other, often in the same scene, as they journey throughout the bustling heart of Tel Aviv. 10% My Child is a creative retelling of the classic love story with an incredible performance by young Yali Friedman as Franny.
