Award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce stars as one half of an “odd-couple” in this British dramedy. Nat is desperately trying to hold onto the family bakery despite slumping sales and a big-box store neighbor trying to bump him off. After losing his assistant, he enlists the help of young Ayyash, a refugee from Darfur who is also selling pot on the side to help his struggling mother make ends meet. Well, accidents happen, and some of the stash gets dropped in the dough. You can only guess why challahs start flying off the shelf! Surrounded by a cast of over-the-top characters, Nat and Ayyash are the heart and soul (or should we say flour and water?) that make this “dough” rise.
