This program of short films has been curated to introduce students to little known stories of the Holocaust, films from around the world, and different filmmaking techniques.  Students will learn about the Holocaust in Turkey in Life Will Smile, life in concentration camps in Audition and Hope Dies Last, the United States response in Night at the Garden, the resistance in Great, and holding perpetrators of evil to account in The Driver is Red.  

The program includes documentary and narrative films, in English and German and Turkish, with subtitles.

Recommended for grades 9-12.
