Deemed too controversial and politically incorrect to find distribution in the U.S., this satirical comedy brought in over $148 million at the French box office. An upper class Catholic couple are in a tizzy that three of their four daughters have married outside their faith – to an Arab, a Jew, and an Asian, respectively. They are thrilled to learn that their youngest is betrothed to a Catholic (finally!) until they learn he is of African descent. All hell breaks loose when the groom's parents roll into town from the Ivory Coast and prejudice becomes a two-way street.
