Where I Stand: The Hank Greenspun Story
Pittsburgh Premiere

Hank Greenspun was so much more than a crusading newspaperman and publisher of the Las Vegas Sun. He lived several lifetimes packed into one – assistant to Bugsy Siegel, gunrunner to Palestine for the Haganah, part-owner of a casino, columnist who took on Joe McCarthy, racism, nuclear waste dumping, the IRS, and the mob. The documentary features Anthony Hopkins reading diary entries written by this larger-than-life character, who was motivated by the Jewish imperative to pursue justice. Interviews with family members, Shimon Peres, and other compatriots round out the film.
