Tickets are available to purchase online in advance or at the venue 30 minutes prior to each screening. Make sure you have your QR code from your ticket or your pass to enter!

We sure do! For all general admission in-person screenings, full-time students get in for $5 (with proof of student ID) and ages 25 and under get in for $10 (with proof of ID). Prices are only available at the door.

You can save a ton of money by buying a pass!

We are now paperless and you can be too: just show us the QR code for your screening and we will scan you in. You can also print the ticket, or find it in your account in Eventive.

How do I pick up my pass?

We will print a badge for you with your QR code at your first screening. Please note if you are attending the opening night film at The Harris, instead of the Row House Hollywood, we may not have your badge available on the first night, but we assure you that you can pick it up next time.

Do I need to book my screenings in advance?

We do recommend purchasing single tickets in advance or booking your tickets using your pass in advance on Eventive.

Virtual FAQs

How can I purchase a virtual ticket?

All tickets and passes can be purchased online. Please note that the virtual feature films are available to stream from 12 am on Thursday, November 13 through 11:59pm on Sunday, November 23. All films are available to stream in PA, WV, and OH but only Short Film blocks are available in any state in the US. After you purchase your tickets or pass, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your order.

I want to see a lot of films—can I buy a pass?

Yes! Virtual Passes are available for all virtual shorts and feature-length films and short film blocks. If you purchase a Virtual Pass, do NOT continue to purchase individual tickets for virtual films, as they are all included with that pass.

You will select the films and short film programs you’d like to view AFTER you set up your Eventive account. A Virtual Pass provides ONE viewing (or unlock) of each film or short film program.

What systems and equipment do I need to stream the films?

Please check Eventive's website for the most up to date technical information.

What is my Eventive account?

Your Eventive account is where you will access your virtual content.

If you joined us for one of our virtual festivals in the past 3 years, you already have an Eventive account set up via the email you used at that time.

If your purchase with us this year will be your first for an Eventive platform virtual festival, then you will receive an email from Three Rivers inviting you to activate your Eventive account. Once you set your password, you’ll be able to log in and access all of your purchased content in your Content Library.

Please make sure to use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS that you used to purchase your tickets/pass to activate your Eventive account. Your tickets and access are tied to that email account.

You only need to set up your Eventive account after your first purchase. For any additional ticket purchases, you must use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS so that your tickets appear in your Content Library. After every purchase, you will receive an email from Three Rivers with a link to your film via a WATCH NOW button. We strongly suggest you save these emails for easy access to your films when you’re ready to watch them!

How do I find my movie in a single ticket purchase?

If you’ve already purchased your ticket, log into your Eventive account and visit your Content Library (which can be found by clicking on the round, grey button at the top right corner of the page).  You can also find the confirmation email and click the WATCH NOW button. If you’ve already ordered a ticket and are logged into your Eventive account, you will have the option to “watch now” from the virtual screening page.

WARNING: Once you have purchased a ticket for a film, you do NOT have to pay again. If you are on the Eventive platform and are asked to "Order Now" instead of "Watch Now," make sure you are logged into your Eventive account.  If you are logged in and this problem still exists, please contact us at info@filmpittsburgh.org so we can troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

Ticket Buyers—there are two ways to access your films/programs:

  1. Locate the email from Three Rivers and click on the WATCH NOW button.
  2. Go to watch.eventive.org/me and click on the gray circle on the top right corner of the screen to access your Content Library. All of the films you have purchased will be located here.

When you’re ready to watch, click the WATCH NOW button in the middle of your screen and enjoy! If the film is not yet available, the button will say: “Pre-Ordered successfully.”

You will have 48 hours, in most instances, once you hit WATCH NOW, to finish viewing the film. Make sure to check the dates/times/geographic restrictions for each film/program.

I bought a Virtual Pass—how do I select my programs?

After setting up your Eventive account, return to the Three Rivers schedule pages and select the films you would like to watch by clicking on the “I already have a pass” button. Your pass benefits will be automatically applied and the selected films or short film programs will appear when you next log in to Eventive and go to your Content Library as described above.

We kindly request that you only pre-order or unlock films that you are sure you are going to watch as some films have limited numbers of views and Film Pittsburgh is charged whether you actually watch it or not.

Once you have activated your Eventive account, return to the Three Rivers schedules to select the films you wish to watch. Films and events do NOT automatically appear in your Content Library, even with a pass.

To add a film, click on the image (a button will pop up) and select “I already have a pass.” This will take you to the Eventive website where you will add the film to your Eventive Content Library by clicking on the purple button in the middle of the image that says "Pre-Order Now for Free" or “Unlock for Free." To add another film to your Content Library, hit “Back to Festival Site” in the upper right corner and repeat the process for your next selection.

You can access your Content Library by going to watch.eventive.org/me and logging in.

Can I watch films at any time?

All virtual feature films are available to stream from 12am on Thursday, November 13 through 11:59pm on Sunday, November 23 in PA, OH, and WV.

Once you’ve clicked on the ‘WATCH NOW” button, you will have 48 hours to complete your viewing of that selection during the available time frames noted above.

If I don’t live in Pittsburgh, can I still watch the films?

Yes! All of our virtual selections are available for viewing in PA, WV, and OH.

What are some ways I can watch the films?

  • Watch directly through your computer or other device.
  • Use your smartphone or laptop to “Cast” or “AirPlay” films to your TV.
  • Connect your computer to your TV with an HDMI cord.
  • If you have Apple TV or ROKU, check out Eventive’s free app in both the Roku and Apple TV app stores. Simply search for “Eventive” in the App Store, download and install it, and follow the on-screen instructions to link the app to your existing Eventive account. Note: This is NOT an app for your phone. You must have a 4th generation or greater Apple TV to access the app store. Once linked, films that have been “UNLOCKED” in your Eventive account will appear on screen in your Content Library.

What happens if I forget my password?

Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the email address you use to log in.

Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?

We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on wifi, try moving closer to your router.
